2 truths and a lie
On our first date, I told my now boyfriend 3 statements, one of which was false. He had to determine which was false. We took turns doing this for quite awhile, and he told me later that he had really enjoyed getting to know each other this way.

A Fish Named Jealousy
Once, I let my jealousy get the best of me and I came down on my sweetheart quite harshly. I know I hurt him and I wanted to find a way to let him know that I was not going to let jealousy ruin our relationship. So the following day, I went to a pet store and bought the reddest and angry-looking goldfish in the tank. I put it in a vase and fed it. I took a picture of it with my cell phone and texted it to my sweetie with this message, "This is my new fish, he was swimming around inside of me, and you heard him the other day. You might know him as Jealousy. Don't worry, he's out now, and as long as I feed him, there will be no more need to worry about him eating away at me again." I also let him know that my jealousy was all gone. We've been together for a year and one month tomorrow!

A Gesture A Day
When my Northern Belle and I got together, I told her not a day would pass without her somehow knowing she's on my mind and in my heart. So, I leave her short notes, either at work for her to find when she gets there or via e-mail every morning reminding her how beautiful she is to me, how much I need, want and love her, and it always helps her start her day with a smile.

A Simple Gesture
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 8 months. We don't live together, but we do see each other quite a bit. As much as I love seeing him and all of the things he does for me when I know they are coming, my most favorite is when I wake up in the morning and his sitting on my bed, just watching me sleep. He isn't able to do this very often, so when he does it makes it a very special gesture.

A Sweet Dream
Always remember to tell your loved one "sweet dreams" before you leave them or get off the phone for the night. They will remember it when they lay down to sleep and you'll be the last thing on their mind at night!! Also keep a dream journal together. that way you can map you unconscious love for each other too!!

A Time To Hold

A Warm, Toasty Towel
While your mate is in the shower, or bath, take their towel and pop it in the dryer for a few minutes. Greet them when they get out of the shower with the toasty towel. Watch the appreciation and amazement in their face.
